Temasek
Temasek is a global investment company founded in 1974 and headquartered in Singapore. As of March 31, 2020, it owned a portfolio worth S$306 billion (US$214 billion).
Its global portfolio spans a wide range of industries: financial services; telecommunications, media and technology; consumer and real estate; transportation; life sciences; and agribusiness.
Why Rivulis?
The decision was based on Rivulis’s water-saving technologies, which support environmental sustainability while addressing global food and water security challenges. As we all know, low-volume irrigation is an innovative technology that offers the only practical solution for meeting these challenges. Temasek identifies with our Grow Beyond slogan, which sums up our commitment that “we make low-volume irrigation accessible,” backed by our ongoing innovation and operational reach: “we focus on field-proven innovation,” and our culture ensures that “we nurture long-term partnerships.”
Although Rivulis is set to become a core part of Temasek’s agribusiness portfolio, it will remain an independent company headquartered in Israel. The management team you have known over the six years since Rivulis was founded will continue to lead the company in this new chapter.
