What's
the story?

Sugar’s previous website was built on a platform that made it impossible to improve performance. BIScience wanted to move to WordPress quickly, keep all the content and organic rankings, and launch a faster site. The main focus of the project was performance.

So what
did we do?

  • Rebuilt in HTML

    We recreated the site from the existing design in clean HTML, as the foundation for a faster website.

  • Content management

    We developed a WordPress admin that lets the team update the site on its own.

  • Content migration

    We moved all the content from the previous version to the new site, including every existing page.

  • 301 redirects

    We set up 301 redirects so the move would not hurt the pages' organic rankings.

  • Google Tag Manager

    We connected the site to the existing Google Tag Manager events and added new events for tracking.

  • Speed optimization

    We optimized load speed across all pages, including the inner pages.
